About French Beginnings Art
From petri dishes to palette knives
In my past work in the laboratory, I survived on precision and protocol, tethered to the clock and stressed by the demands of the day. However, with my art, I've found a different rhythm - one that pulses with spirituality, freedom, relaxation, and creative expression. I believe my art is a divinely inspired journey of love and discovery.
Through my self-taught work, I try to capture the essence of this learning journey, inviting others to join me in the joy and fun of creation. While my past work taught me discipline and attention to detail, my art has given me the freedom to explore and to nourish my soul.
For the past several years, my art has been a relatively private endeavor. I haven't been truly ready to share it with many except for the lovely McCreary County Art and Craft Center near Cumberland Falls State Park, Kentucky.
I paint from a small studio room in my home. I've recently decided to share a little more of my art because it's brought me so much joy over the years. I hope others will find value in it also.
